Baked Brie Gran Marnier

We all have our favorite topping for oven-baked brie

…and it is fun to experiment with different tastes.

I love brie in pastry, brie topped with fruit preserves,

brie with pate…but I think this version is my favorite.

Of course, there are other liqueurs available…

1 four ounce round of brie

2 tablespoons of butter

¼ cup of almonds, sliced, tossed with butter, and toasted

2 ounces of Gran Marnier liqueur

1 cup of fresh tangerine sections

Microwave butter in a stoneware dish and then add

brie. Place in a 350 degree oven for about three minutes,

until hot but not melting out of its casing. Place on a

lettuce-lined platter, sprinkle almonds on top, and

splash with the Gran Marnier. Garnish with the

tangerine sections.
