Yacht Club Shrimp Spread

This is a Shrimp spread that you will be pleased to put on your holiday buffet table, or any other time of year. Filled with the flavor of fresh Gulf shrimp and the tang of tart lemons, it is a longtime favorite of ours.

  • 1 pound of shrimp, boiled, peeled, and shredded in a food processor
  • 1 can of condensed cream of shrimp soup
  • 1 eight ounce package of cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Spanish smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, minced

Combine all ingredients, reserving one tablespoon of parsley for garnish, and refrigerate overnight if possible. Serve with your choice of crackers.
