Cheesy Italian Breadstick Dip

This is a quick and easy winner that allows you to

compose the dish, put it in the oven, and go about

your business until guests arrive. Crunchy breadsticks

from your supermarket arranged in a tall tumbler

are unique dip-sticks!

1 eight ounce package of cream cheese at room temperature

1 can of chopped black olives, drained

1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon of garlic, minced

2 cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese

1 cup of shredded white cheddar or Monterrey Jack cheese

½ cup of prepared tomato spaghetti sauce

½ cup of bell or poblano peppers, chopped

½ cup of red bell pepper, chopped

Combine cream cheese with the Italian seasoning,

olives, and garlic and spread on the bottom of a

shallow, oven-proof baking dish that has been coated

with olive oil. Stir the cheeses together and sprinkle

half on the first layer. Spread the tomato sauce over all.

Sprinkle the peppers on top of that and finish up with

the remaining cheeses. Bake in a 350 degree oven for

about twenty minutes. Serve

warm.
