Bloody Mary Oyster Shooters

Well it doesn’t get any better than this. We got into

these during a house party on St. George Island off

the coast of Appalachicola and it was a memorable

way to start the day…can’t do this except on

Saturdays!

Check out this site for Tim’s Bloody Mary Mix and prepare

One gallon

4 dozen freshly shucked oysters

1 dozen limes, wedged

1 shaker of Uncle Dunc’s Seafood Seasoning (recipe below)

Prepare one dozen shot glasses by moistening their

rims with lime wedges and dip in Uncle Dunc’s

Seafood Seasoning. Pour in Tim’s Bloody Mary Mix

to the mid- level and drop in one oyster. This should

be sufficient for four dozen oysters as well as

generous cocktails for those who are reticent

about chugging fresh oysters.

Uncle Dunc’s Seafood Seasoning

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

1 teaspoon of smoked paprika

1 teaspoon of celery salt

1 teaspoon of ground mace

1 teaspoon of thyme

1 teaspoon of coriander

1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

2 tablespoons of sea salt
