Cheesy Crab Rounds


A quick and delicious appetizer from your

well-stocked pantry!

½ cup of sharp cheddar cheese, grated

6 ounces of cooked crab meat (canned will do)

2 tablespoons of green onions, thinly sliced

1 egg, well-beaten

20 whole-wheat bread slices

½ cup of crumbled bacon

Combine first four ingredients. With a biscuit cutter,

cut rounds from the center of each bread slice. Spread

the cheese mixture generously and sprinkle with

crumbled bacon. Place under the broiler and cook

until puffed and golden brown. Do not let bacon burn.
