Nutty Corn or Corny Nuts?

This stuff is so good you will have to hide it in a

padlocked tin, or eat it all in one evening. Easy to

make and easy to store, consider making up a batch

for a hostess gift or a holiday surprise.

1 cup of sliced almonds

1 cup of pecan pieces

12 cups of popped corn

1 stick of butter

1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

½ cup of brown sugar

Sea salt to taste

Bake the nuts in a single layer at 350 degrees for 15 minutes,

watching closely to prevent burning. Remove and add to popcorn.

Melt butter with the cinnamon and sugar and toss thoroughly with

the nut and popcorn mixture. Return to the oven for ten minutes,

stirring once.

Cool in the pan and toss to separate.
