Grilled Asparagus

We’re all looking for a way to cook anything we can on the

grill during these days of summer and here is a delicious

appetizer that can be enjoyed by guests as they await the

ribs or burgers.

24 asparagus spears, trimmed

1 bottle of quality Italian dressing

2 tablespoons of freshly ground black pepper

24 slices of prosciutto

Submerge the asparagus spears in a shallow dish

and pour the dressing over them. Sprinkle the pepper

on top and microwave on high for two to three minutes.

Remove, let cool, and wrap each spear with the

prosciutto which has been dipped in the dressing first.

Place on grill, seam-side down and brown, turning to

crisp the prosciutto on all sides.
