Devilish Ham Rounds


A southern-cured ham needs little assistance and in

this recipe, we accompany it with a simple mixture

of mayo, mustard, and onion to bring out the flavor

of the smokehouse. I would suggest you pair this

with sliced tomatoes on toasted bread rounds that

have been generously spread with homemade

mayonnaise and sprinkled with fresh minced basil.

Pass the two in tandem.

2 cups of diced ham

4 tablespoons of mayonnaise (homemade is always better)

2 teaspoons of coarse ground mustard

2 tablespoons of chopped onion

Toasted bread rounds

Process first four ingredients until mixture has the

consistency of crunchy peanut butter. Spread generously

on bread rounds and broil until they bubble!
