Smoked Seafood Spread

Sometimes we find ourselves far from the ocean’s

shores but long for the taste of the sea. This recipe

is good with tinned baby clams, smoked mussels,

or smoked oysters. If you should have some smoked

trout on hand, it is delicious in this recipe. We have

used it often in the mountains.

1 eight ounce package of cream cheese

1 ½ cups of mayonnaise

2 teaspoons of red pepper sauce

Juice and zest of one lemon

1 small can of chopped black olives

1 small flat can of smoked seafood or four ounces of prepared clams

Soften cream cheese and stir in mayonnaise, pepper sauce,

lemon, and olives. Add well-drained and roughly chopped

seafood and serve with saltine crackers.
