Blue Cheese and Almond Puffs

Try these Blue Cheese and Almond Puffs as a

stand-alone hors d’oeuvres or to accompany soup

or salad. They are quick and delicious.

1 package of large refrigerated biscuits

1 six ounce package of blue cheese

½ cup of butter

1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

1 cup of sliced almonds, very lightly toasted and chopped

Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees and cut biscuits

into fourths. Roll into balls and then into chopped

almonds, making sure they are evenly coated.

Put in a low baking dish, melt butter and cheese

together, add pepper, and pour over the balls. Bake

ten to 12 minutes, turning after the first six minutes.
