St. Charles Milk Punch

This is a favorite of New Orleanians and it will be

your’s too if you are favored with a brunch

invitation in the garden district some sunny

morning in June.

4 cups of sweet milk (not non-fat or 2%)

2 cups of cream

1 cup of brandy

¾ cup of dark rum

¼ cup of muscovado sugar


Mix first five ingredients and refrigerate overnight. Serve in

highball glasses over ice and dusted with nutmeg.
