Blender Daiquiris

It must have been the great Mexican migration

over the last decade that displaced the Daiquiri

and enthroned the Margarita as the drink of

choice on a hot Saturday afternoon by the bay,

lake or pool. As an effort at rehabilitation, consider

this recipe for Blender Daiquiris. So easy, so

refreshing, and so welcome to your guests.

1 can of frozen limeade

1 can of good light rum

2 cups of ice cubes

Lime wedges for garnish

Dump it all in the blender except for the wedges, blend

to a slush, and pour into chilled glasses with the wedges

hung precipitously on the edge of the glass.
