Teriyaki Beef Skewers

Nothing is as satisfying to most of us than a morsel

of succulent beef, seared over charcoal, and sauced

lightly. These cubes of aged sirloin may be alternated

with mushroom caps, cherry tomatoes, or onion

slices for variety.

1 pound of sirloin steak

¼ cup of mushroom soy sauce

1 tablespoon of sugar

1 tablespoon of garlic, minced

1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, minced

Cut steak into one inch cubes and marinate in remaining

ingredients for several hours. Thread on bamboo skewers

which have been soaked in water for thirty minutes. Grill

3 to 5 minutes on each side, depending on heat of fire.

This should make about 35 cubes.
