Pitcher Teaquila

No, that is not a spelling error! This great
make-ahead summer drink combines that
southern staple, iced tea, and a favorite of
those further south, tequila. It is perfect for a crowd.
We serve this often before Sunday
comida...always a hit. But be careful,
it goes down easy.

     1/2 cup sugar
     1/4 cup water
     3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 1/2 cups guava or mango nectar
     1 cup strong Luzianne tea
     3/4 cup tequila
     Lime Wedges

Bring sugar and water to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Let cool and add lime juice. Combine the lime and sugar syrup
with the guava nectar, tea, and tequila in a large pitcher. Pour
over ice in tall glasses and garnish with a lime wedge.
